chocolate spread for children?
I just bought a jar of chocolate sauce for my children, 9mths 18mths one and one. I just read the back of the same and contains small amounts of nuts and honey. Is it safe to give the baby as I read somewhere that you should'nt give honey to babies? It says a touch of honey. Thanks in advance for any help. Wow x. I only bought to get some bread for a little treat now and again. I have no intention feed my children today all every day! ANLE My kids have a very healthy and varied diet please tell me a child on this planet who has'nt tried a some chocolate at this age. Thanks.
I think its advised to wait until after 12 months to honey, because it can contain bacteria and unpasteurized.
But honey chocolate cream has probably been pasteurized. I do not think it does no harm, except maybe a little upset stomach. I'm sure a little bit will make no damage.
