What is the best way to decorate chocolate candy?
I'll be making some chocolate candy suckers this week, and ill to use chocolate melts Michaels, and some chocolate candy molds clear. But I do not want them to be of a color. I want to put in details with lots of different colors. And I'm thinking what would be the best way to do this? Ive looked around online and found nothing in any part of the decoration of candy 101. I thought possibly brushing of different colors into the mold first, then pour the chocolate base on that, but then wondered if it would melt the chocolate brushed back with the other and all go to waste? And also, I want the skin tone chocolate color. How I can get that? Please Help?
You can buy white chocolate candy melts (or almond bark) and the use of dye to dye any color you want. You can test colors first fusion and color a little at a time.
For skin color, I use white chocolate with milk chocolate, add darker as stir until the color you want. If freezing the bottom layer of chocolate completely, adding the next layer does not melt the bottom. It takes longer, but it seems to look great!
