Chocolate Applesauce Cake
Add pudding or applesauce or milk to the cake mix to make MOIST ?????????????????????????…?
I always make my kids b-day cake, but I always just make the instructions on the box … no tweaking. Well this time I want a cake really wet and when I get the bakery. I'm making two cakes for my son's birthday … One is a German Betty Crocker Super Moist chocolate and the other is a Duncan Hines cake moist Devils Deluxe … both in water for 1 1 / 3 cups 1 / 2 cup vegetable oil 3 large eggs. I have read that adding a box instant pudding mix gelatin will be wetter and substituting applesauce for oil will be wetter and Subingen milk for water called the will to help is wet …. is better or can do a combination of two methods of moisture or possibly 3 settings, Add applesauce, milk and oil instead of sub and sub milk for water? Also when you add chocolate chips to the cake as many (half a cup -?? Full cup) and I must add throw / flour dust first? I know I have a lot of?? Thanks in advance!
When using the mixture of cake box, I use whole milk for water, oil – you can keep the cake moist and your applesauce substitute low-fat, large or jumbo eggs extra. Not add to pudding 'estate' style mixes because they are fine as they are for me. Mini chocolate chips will not sink as much as normal, and can be sprinkled with a few tablespoons of the cake mix itself.
For the mini chips, 1 / 2 or 2 / 3 cup will suffice.
