Chocolate Eclair Recipe Graham Crackers

I have a recipe that I want to try but I would change a bit. How do you think this will work?
It is called "Easy peanut butter and Dessert Chocolate Eclair.
"You layer a mixture of chocolate pudding mix, peanut butter and cool whip.
next layer is crackers (whole) Repeat layers. Topped with semi-sweet chocolate melted. I wanted to do (since cookies are not my favorite) is to use Vinall crushed wafers in place of cookies. Do you think this would work? Yes, but just wanted your opinion.
I am having difficulties to find out how you spread the butter Peanut … but apart from that, I would whole vanilla wafers. They will break a bit because of the humidity and I think he'll be fine. Let us know how out?
